INT. SOLOW BUILDING - 30TH STOREY - DAY

A switch CLICKS on the timing box.

We continue to PUSH toward the window.

The two generator-like machines from earlier are revealed to be industrial SMOKE-MACHINES.

They begin to slowly HISS out dense plumes of white SMOKE.

INT. FRICK MUSEUM - BASEMENT HALLWAY - DAY

Cole and Alex emerge painfully slowly from the elevator, feigning limited mobility.

Mark holds the doors open for Cole to wheel Alex down the basement hallway gallery, past the foot of a large spiral staircase that leads back to the main level.

The elevator doors close and Alex checks his wristwatch. Cole glances at the time from above - 10:32am.

INT. SKYSCRAPER - 30TH FLOOR - DAY

We PUSH past the large SPEAKERS and HALT, pressed against the glass.

DET-CORD runs along the perimeter of every window.

The smoke-machines are warmed up and billowing thick clouds of dense white smoke that obscure the view.

Two more SWITCHES on the timing box CLICK in quick succession.

The det-cord EXPLODES in a bright FLASH. The entire bank of windows SHATTERS, blown outward.

We PLUNGE over the edge and FALL the thirty storeys to the street below.

In the midst of a tumbling, spectral hurricane of glass the ROAR of a jet-engine BLASTS from the SPEAKERS above.

ON THE SIDEWALK

A WALL STREET SUIT yanks a TEENAGE GIRL back by her elbow as glass SMASHES onto the pavement in front of them.

PEDESTRIANS on the other side of the street exclaim in shock and point at the large HOLE left in the side of the skyscraper emanating thick clouds of SMOKE.

PEOPLE pull out their cellphones.

INT. FRICK MUSEUM - BASEMENT - REAR GALLERY - DAY

Cole begins to wheel Alex back toward the elevator. The few other PATRONS in the basement are already climbing the stairs.

Once Alex and Cole are sure they’re the only people left in the basement, they slip into the open elevator.

Cole stands between the surveillance camera and Alex. Alex leans forward in his chair and slips a tiny pry-bar behind the service panel and pries it open. With a violent yank at the elevator’s electrical guts, Alex disables it.

Cole presses a couple of buttons with no result. Alex eases the panel closed.
